It starts from the Nahazo campsite and after two kilometers goes to the top of the Aibga ridge, then you will find a three-kilometer journey to the Turyi Mountains mountain range. And although the road mostly runs from the southern side of the ridge, there are several points on this section where you can see the northern and southern sides of the ridge at the same time. Alpine meadows, colorful colors, mountain chamois, tours and stunning views of the two valleys of the rivers Psou and Mzymta. Take binoculars with you and get ready to explore nature and fauna.
The White Stone Trail
A trail along the southern spur of the Aibga ridge with beautiful panoramic views. At the highest point of the spur, a snow-white rock is visible, which gave the trail its name. It takes about an hour to walk to the white stone from the Nahazo campsite, but if you wish, you can walk further along the trail, which goes through a mountain meadow with flowers and descends lower to the forest, the height difference in this segment is 200 meters, which imposes certain physical requirements on the tourist and classifies this trail into a complex category (red).
The trail to Mount Lysaya
A round trip will take about two hours, and all for the breathtaking 360-degree view that opens from the top of the mountain. It is called bald for a reason, since there are no trees on the very top, but old metal remnants of radar antennas are installed. During the Olympics in 2014, equipment for monitoring the border was installed here. A border outpost is still operating on the ridge at the foot of the mountain, as the border zone border runs right along the top of Lysaya Mountain. If you finish your hike at the top of the mountain, you won't need a border guard. a pass, but it's better to always carry your passport with you. And yes, according to the rules laid down in the law of the Russian Federation, you should not take photos and videos of border infrastructure facilities (border guards. outpost) and the border guards themselves. Be prepared to show them the results of your filming and, if the situation requires it, erase some of the materials at their request. But in general, they are friendly people who do their job.
Lower Deer Trail and upper Deer Trail
The easiest circular trail in the vicinity of the campsite, which will take you approximately 1.5 hours. The lower part is a trail from the campsite to the Nahazo tract. It was this mountain meadow that gave the name to the campsite of the same name, in summer there is tall field grass, scattered boulders that were brought here by a glacier many years ago, chamois and deer. The lower part of the trail passes through a beautiful fir forest, and in autumn, when the deer starts racing, its roar can be heard here. In addition to deer and chamois, Caucasian bears can be found in the surrounding area, mostly shy and not dangerous, however, it is strongly recommended to familiarize yourself with the rules of behavior when meeting wild animals, this can be done at the information center of the campsite.
The upper part is a trail from the Nahazo tract to the campsite. The upper trail passes through the forest area and opens into the Alpine area directly above the equipped tourist parking lot. It offers one of the best views of the Nahazo campsite.
